Introduction

The senior Analyst will provide operational support to the National Public Health Laboratory and other partners to develop and strengthen health systems critical to the diagnosis and treatment of HIV/AIDS.
Among other projects, the senior analyst will especially lead the following:
- Field evaluation of a new automate machine
- Implementation of a national samples transport network
- Implementation of practical solutions to increase CD4 testing access at health facility level


Fonctions




The senior analyst must be a broad and strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate systems holistically to identify the key gaps and recommend practical, realistic interventions for operational improvement. The analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from quantitative analysis and model development in Excel, to conducting site visits to collect appropriate data, to leading broad stakeholder meetings to gain consensus on proposed recommendations. The Analyst will report directly into the Program Manager for Laboratory Services in Haiti.





This position will require someone with a sense of entrepreneurship and with extremely strong problem-solving skills. Candidates must have excellent communications skills, a high degree of self-confidence and cultural sensitivity as they will be working closely with both MOH and NGO partners. They must have strong analytical capabilities and be able to manage multiple tasks while driving a work plan forward. They must exhibit a passion for results and commitment to excellence. Qualifications réquises

•A university degree, preferably in business, public health or a related discipline
•Minimum of 4 years experience in the private or public sectors, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
•Fluency in French and English
•Strong program management skills, demonstrated ability to execute plans efficiently and in a timely manner
•Strong interpersonal skills, highly developed approach to efficient collaboration and ability to develop strong relationships to drive a process successfully
•Highly entrepreneurial and with strong self-motivation
•Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and a commitment to improvement and creative thinking with a capacity to critically assess prior achievements and develop stronger solutions and processes
•Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be effective under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
•Ability to work independently, flexibly and responsively, with a strong commitment to excellence and results
•Excellent written and oral communications skills in both French and English and a high degree of self-confidence


Conditions particulières

•Experience working in developing countries, particularly in health or HIV/AIDS-related issues
•Demonstrated success in training, coaching and supporting fellow team members and partners at all levels of an organization to build capacity in a sustainable manner
•Knowledge of Haitian Creole
