Introduction

Fonctions

Provide strategic guideline to the SLT (review the SOP)
Collect and provide real-time data on the security situation in our areas of intervention and our areas of expansion
Collaboration with INSO, US Embassy and other partners
Manage the SMS and consolidate updates
Provide security briefing during SLT
Make assessments of the security situation and guide the office on regular movement decisions and strategic movements
Participate in safety briefings
Contribute to training staff on personal safety as well as simulations
Create a list of key actions and behaviors for each situation
Review the contingency plan
Discuss and review the risk matrix
Maintain communication with regional managers as well as security focal points in the regions
Organize field assessments, including, if necessary, training of enumerators and questionnaire/evaluation kit for field testing;
Collect appropriate and sufficient baseline information on the impact of the displaced population on the food security of rural households;


Qualifications réquises

Required Qualifications
Engagement Christian serving the poor in full agreement with the Christian foundations of FH and its convictions expressed in the “Heartbeat” (Heart of FH): our values, Vision, and Purpose.
· Ability to analyze, synthesize, and provide instructions in real-time
· Skills in critical thinking and analysis
· Good research skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Skills in training, coaching, and facilitation
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and reduced supervision

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCES:
·Security and intelligence training
· Work experience in intelligence,
· Experience working in personal security and institutional security
·At least five years of experience in analysis and programming related to physical security.



Conditions particulières

Under the general supervision of the country director, under the functional direction of the program director in close collaboration with regional managers and other stakeholders and partners, the consultant will be responsible for intelligence, monitoring and daily evaluation of the security situation nationally, particularly in our areas of intervention. He will guide the office on maintaining operational choices to mitigate security risks with regard to the contingency plan, the risk matrix in the general framework and the implementation of the R2P2 project and operational development, management and expansion of FH activities relating to emergency and recovery projects.
