Introduction
Older people face particular challenges during emergencies, but are not often identified as a vulnerable group. HelpAge International (HAI) works to ensure that the rights, needs and capabilities of older people are recognised in all emergency programmes.
We are recruiting an Administration Officer to assist the Finance Manager and the Program Manager for administrative functions in the Haiti Office, including systems development. Also providing logistical support in the organisation of events and project activities.
Fonctions
to provide administrative and clerical support for the smooth and efficient running of the Haiti Office.
Qualifications Requises
-Secretarial skills-typing, use of computer, fax machine, photocopier
-Office experience for a minimum period of two years
-languages fluent in French with a good working knowledge of written and spoken English
-Ex perience in purchasing stationery
-Experience in maintening office equipment
-email and internet skills
Conditions particulières
It would be desirable for the person to have experience of producing presentation material;i.e. power point and a experience and commitment to work with and for disadvantage people, preferably older people.
Some experience in Human resources would be advantageous.
