CIAT is participating in a Chemonics-led USAID funded project on reforestation in Haiti with a strong watershed management component. The project is based on a participatory, mosaic, ridge-to-reef approach that is informed by local realities. We are seeking a technical specialist to develop watershed management plans that will take into account links between upstream and downstream communities and ecosystems from mountain ridges to coastal areas, including mangroves that protect the coast and fisheries resources. The specialist will focus on watershed management planning and may assist the project team in other types of support for the project.
