Introduction
The Haitian Consulting Firm, AGRIDEV, works on increasing farmer incomes while contributing to a better environment in Haiti using a market-led development approach. AGRIDEV has been involved in donor and private-funded projects that have achieved results obtained in terms of increased levels of production and sales of high value crops, primarily tree crops (coffee, cacao, and mango), as well as a number of high value field crops (yam, pumpkin and pepper) with significant domestic and export market potential.
Fonctions
Administration
- Reception and distribution of correspondence
- Responsible for communication with partners and suppliers
- Coordination of meetings
- Coordinate logistics for staff and consultants (hotel, plane tickets, etc)
- Prepare employee contracts as required.
- Prepare appropriate documentation for potential biding offers (provide support to technical staff)
- Keep personnel records up to date, ensuring that all information is available and up to date
- Prepare letters as instructed (to financial institutions, partners, donors, ect…)
Finance
- Prepare requisitions and payment request (for payroll, payment to suppliers,…)
- Responsible for purchasing of office supplies and material
- Keep records on vacation and sick days for all staff
- Prepare expense report for staff (as needed). Ensure that invoices, receipts and all supporting documentation are available and correct
- Petty Cash management and reconciliation
- Keep equipment inventory up to date
- Ensure proper filing (employee files, contracts, checks, payment request, ect…)
- Ensure that all staff and consultants provide their time sheets on a monthly basis
- Photocopy and scan documents as required
Program Support
- Follow up on unfinished actions from last report and remind program staff of action to be taken
- Assist in the production of periodic reports
Qualifications Requises
1. Business management or accounting
2. Relevant working experiences
3. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, powerpoint)
4. Good working knowledge of English and ability to understand English and write in English and French,
5. Multi-tasking and an ability to work without direct supervision.
