BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Summary

This intermediate analyst evaluates current or proposed operations and develops, tracks, documents, recommends, and/or analyzes processes, operations, or systems, assessing the organizational model or its integration with technology. This analyst leverages experience and training to discover and/or develop data, monitor analytics, contribute to successful communications and quality trends, and educate leadership in areas of opportunity for improvement. Coordinating among various stakeholders, the analyst will lead or serve on project teams to pilot innovation efforts, provide systematic reviews, and promote sustainability of ministry initiatives. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex business analysis cases or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other specialists

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
1. Mature Christian person, with evangelical Christian values; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and above reproach in integrity and honesty.
2. Ability to act as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
3. Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
4. Three years of Professional experience working in business analysis, business intelligence, data analysis, project management or a similar field.
5. Ability to expand conceptual knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities
6. Ability to provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the business analysis discipline.
7. Capacity to understand key organizational drivers; to use this understanding to accomplish own work.
8. Capacity to explain complex information to others in straightforward situations
9. Capacity to solve problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

Ability to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
