One Child Matters (OCM), a Christian Child development organization invites applications the following position:

HAITI COUNTRY DIRECTOR BASED AND WORKING FROM CAP HAITIAN

The Country Director is responsible for leading, managing, supervising, and coordinating the ongoing implementation and growth of OCM work. She/he serves as OCM representative in child focused forums and networks. She/he oversees all field office staff and ensures that field office resources are managed efficiently and effectively. She/he coordinates and manages staff development and church partner capacity building, provides strategic direction for OCM work, and builds strategic networks to leverage and mobilize local resources to enhance child development ministry. In addition, the Country Director, leads and supports OCM global SDM, Finance and Program initiatives to ensure a positive child development experience, field church partner experience, and sponsor engagement experience.

Applicants should have experience working with a global child development non-profit Christian organization, making critical leadership decisions, mature, responsible, and professional in conduct, communication and interaction with other people. She/he should have experience in program implementation, partnership development, and leading people. Should be a university graduate, worked for at least 5 years in a child development ministry setting, able to travel locally and internationally, team player, and able to read, write and speak in English
