ROLE PURPOSE
Partnership’ is as key approach and component of our theory of change that needed strengthening in all aspects, both programmatic and strategic.
The Partnership Coordinator will provide overall operational leadership to our programming with regard to partnership, as well as directly supporting key partners to strengthen their organization, harnessing and coordinating other departments/functions in the CO and beyond to this goal.
SC has developed partnership guidance and tools; the advisor will contextualize for Haiti, propose tools to fill gaps and train and support teams across all thematic in using these.
The position will be a national position, reporting to the Awards Manager, engaging with the PDQA, Operations and Field Office Directors, and working closely with the thematic teams (advisers, program managers) and the MEAL team.
Fonctions
Managing Partnership Function
• Contribute to development of partnership strategy (country strategy) in close cooperation with PDQ
• Ensure that up-to-date SC Global tools and approaches are available and applied
• Train and advise staff of partnership tools and approaches
• Coordinate partnership processes and meetings
• Serve as a main interface for partners and CO
• Develop and maintain a partnership database in close cooperation with PDQA/technical teams, including current and potential partners
Partnership relationships
• Lead and coordinate the process of identification and selection of partners, in close cooperation with the PDQ technical teams
• Ensure and coordinate partner assessments, due diligence and selection
• Coordinate partner involvement in the project management cycle (design, activity planning, review)
• Ensure, coordinate and document regular partner review meetings
• Ensure and record robust monitoring of partners’ performance
Capacity strengthening
• Facilitate and coordinate organisational capacity assessments
• Support partners to develop capacity-strengthening plans, including resourcing and scheduling
• Document all capacity-strengthening plans, including resourcing and scheduling
• Ensure and coordinate timely implementation of partners’ capacity-strengthening plans
• Monitor and document partners’ progress against capacity-strengthening plans
Managing sub-awards
• Draw up a contract/memorandum of understanding, in close cooperation with the Awards Manager
• Ensure, coordinate and conduct kick-off meeting with partner
• Monitor and report risk, and financial and operational compliance
• Verify and document findings on partner reports through monitoring visits to partners in the field
• Conduct contract close-out
General
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Requises
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, in social science, development or other relevant fields of study;
• At least three years of relevant experience;
• Experience in partners’ capacity strengthening and civil society development;
• Practical experience in programme implementation and/or awards management;
• Experience of working within large and complex international organizations;
• Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way ;
• Project/program development and management experience;
• Strong cultural sensitivity, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; including influencing, negotiation and coaching;
• Fluency in Haitian Creole, French and English language required;
• Commitment to Save the Children values;
Conditions de travail
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
