The Financial Sector Deepening Haiti project (FSDHaiti) supports USAID’s Assistance Objective of promoting a “Stable and Economically Viable Haiti.” FSDHaiti is part of a two-fold financial inclusion program and will facilitate the deepening of the financial sector ecosystem by supporting the development of an enabling environment for the increased provision and usage of basic financial services by undeserved and unserved households and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMES), particularly in the U.S. Government-supported rural and agricultural areas in Haiti.
FSDHaiti seeks a Monitoring & Evaluation Manager to draft, monitor, and report on the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (PMEP) and progress against each activity; monitor/facilitate sub-activities, ensure technical support to each activity area is effective and efficient.
Fonctions
The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will draft, monitor, and report on the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (PMEP) and progress against each activity; monitor/facilitate sub-activities, ensure technical support to each activity area is effective and efficient. He/she will lead the information management and design of a monitoring and reporting system including development of program indicators to help inform USAID, the Chief of Party, and Technical Program Officers of project status and progress toward achievement of key results.
Reporting and location: This position will report to the Project Director. This position is based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Essential Duties
• Develop methods for systematic data collection and analysis of program indicators.
• Maintain databases and meet with database developer as needed.
• Support and develop surveys and survey administration protocols to assess the impact of training.
• Work with team to ensure M&E accurately captures objectives and field needs.
• Analyze data for donor-requested reports.
• Produce data for activity updates, newsletters, and performance reports, as needed.
• Coordinate with technical teams to provide data for success stories.
• Carry out evaluations to assess project impact.
• Designing and providing training for local partners on M&E.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director.
Qualifications Requises
• Five or more years of experience in monitoring and evaluation management.
• Experience with USAID data reporting is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in survey development is preferred.
• Proficiency in database management and data analysis.
• Strong writing abilities.
• Fluency in English required.
