Introduction

Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand. MatCH is a consortium partner implementing the EQUIP project. EQUIP is an international grant to implement projects in five key solution areas - innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment, foster ongoing adherence and retention; identify approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising “Test and Start” strategies in countries in Africa, South East Asia and the Caribbean.

MatCH is looking for the following staff to join their EQUIP Team based in Haiti.
Main Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will support a team in providing financial and administrative support to MatCH financial and procurement operations in Haiti.

Fonctions

• Complete administration and tracking of payments.
• Updating and maintaining of finance related trackers.
• Complete reconciliations and required reports.
• Administration relating to petty cash and credit cards.
• Source preferred suppliers and maintain relationships.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and bookings as well as complete relevant administration.
• Ensure compliance through adherence to relevant policies and procedures as well as assisting with audit preparation and queries.
• Follow up on insurance claims related to vehicles/assets and ensure that claims are closed.
• Manage all contracts and bank applications, ensure contracts are approved, tracked and uploaded.
• Maintain asset register


Qualifications Requises

Required minimum education and training
• Completion of University level education in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting related field is required
• Fluency in French and level IV in English
Minimum work experience
• At least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in administration or accounting in a donor funding work environment is required
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
• Sound working knowledge of pertinent U.S. Government regulations relating to budgeting, accounting, and financial and contract management is desired.
• Working knowledge of common accounting software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional organisational and administrative skills together with attention to detail.
• Ordered and systematic approach.
• Able to prioritize own work load and work towards deadlines
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to handle a varied, busy and pressurized work load with competing demands on time.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Tactful and customer focused.
