Introduction

MatCH Health Systems is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand. MatCH is committed to supporting the millennium development goals aimed at gender equity, maternal and child health and combatting HIV. These guide our work which focuses on sexual and reproductive health and HIV treatment and care. MatCH supports health systems strengthening including service delivery, capacity building and technical support. MatCH conducts clinical, behavioural and operations research.

Main Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will support MatCH’s Haiti Offices including: transportation of the team and goods, assisting with the facilitation of services, and other adhoc responsibilities.


Fonctions

Key Performance Areas
• Transporting of staff members where required for project activities.
• Management of vehicles including keys, booking, registration, renewals, spot checks and servicing.
• Administration of company fleet and hired vehicles.
• Assist with the inspection and upkeep of vehicles.
• Conduct additional special projects or tasks as and when required when not engaged in transportation activities.
• Co-ordinate logistics for the delivery of stock.
• Long distance travel within Haiti is a requirement


Qualifications Requises

Required minimum education and training
• Valid unendorsed driver’s license with the necessary documentation permitting transportation of people.
• Appropriate certificate indicating completed and passed schooling.

Minimum work experience
• 6 months experience as a driver
