Introduction
Based in Port-au-Prince, this position is responsible for the implementation and oversight of the NASTAD Haiti Partner Services (PS) Pilot Project. Through this project, community health workers located at local health facilities will work with people living with HIV to identify and locate partners who may have been exposed to HIV. Those partners will then be provided with confidential, supportive HIV counselling and testing, and referral to treatment and care. The PS Coordinator will work with key partners, including CDC and the Ministry of Health (MoH), to develop tools and methods for project implementation at up to 20 sites. The PS coordinator will also work with community health teams at the institution level to identify gaps, barriers and provide technical assistance.
Fonctions
The PS Coordinator is responsible for the following :
• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the pilot in collaboration with NASTAD colleagues, CDC and MoH
o Identify pilot sites
o Develop PS tools, processes and training that are integrated with existing NASTAD patient linkage tools
o Provide training and ongoing supervision to staff at pilot sites
o Ensure the functionality of the system, identify and communicate potential barriers, gaps and needs to be addressed
o Develop a pilot evaluation framework to track system progress and use and identify successes, needs and gaps and make changes as needed
• Upon completion of the pilot, finalize PS tools for national implementation and integration with existing community health team activities
• Collaborate and ensure buy-in from key CDC and MoH partners, as well as site staff and network administrators
Qualifications Requises
Education/Experience
• Advanced Degree in Medicine/Nursing or Public Health preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of HIV or community health program experience.
• Strong experience in public health program planning and implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting observed activities.
• Strong and demonstrated experience in training and group facilitation.
• Experience in data management and data analysis, with ability to perform simple reporting statistics.
Knowledge and Skills
• Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills in French and Creole; English is an asset.
• Knowledge of HIV, including HIV and TB prevention, care and treatment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with partners, staff, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer skills.
