LIVING WATER INTERNATIONAL - HAITI, a Christian organization specializing in the field of WASH, demonstrates God's love by helping vulnerable communities to have drinking water, and especially through evangelism, seeks a Hygiene & Sanitation Facilitator I-STT (Hygiene Promoter) for drilling activities And rehabilitation of wells.

JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to present basic Hygiene education to communities that are receiving water points and encourage positive behavior change. Communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by “providing a cup of water in Jesus’ name”.

• Train communities in the 5 introductory Hygiene Educational Lessons;
• Coordinate with Community leaders to schedule Hygiene Educational Trainings;
• Maintain the inventory of and replace Hygiene Supplies as needed;
• Help and support the Short-term Trip Participants in interacting with the with communities and in country through translation.
• Provide friendly and safe environment with the Short-term Trip Participants during the trip and while in the communities.
• As needed, support the Short-term Trip Participants on the days they are not in the community through translation, navigating in other parts of the country, stores/shops, and other activities.
• Support the STT Coordinator with PUMPS reports, as needed.

• Business Competencies
o At least 1 year experience in a similar role;
o College degree in relevant field of study;
o Aware of Hygiene and Sanitation issues in country;
o Proficient in Microsoft Office programs;
o Fluency in English, French and Creole
o Current Driver’s License
o Ability to travel
