JOB PURPOSE
Provide overall management to the program of Living Water Haiti and ensure the compliance of its projects to the quality standards of Living Water. The Program Manager reports to the Country Director and supervises the team implementing the different components of the program. Communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by “providing a cup of water in Jesus’ name”.

Fonctions
• Responsible for the programmatic design and delivery of the approved program strategy including development of proposals and successful implementation of program activities.
• Conduct assessments of community needs and resources; support community baseline surveys and best practice research and documentation related to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) strategies.
• Establish and maintain systems to deliver effectively the WASH activities as per the approved program plan.
• Track progress closely and alert Living Water should there be any significant project challenges.
• Maintain program quality through compliances with the standards of Living Water and the requirements of the donors.
• Ensure that funding requests are in line with budget.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and all grant related documents are readily available for reference by donor and other implementation partners, if applicable.
• Write monthly, quarterly and annual reports per country and regional guidelines.
• Develop relationships and/or represent Living Water with major stakeholders in WPA areas - government officials, project partners, churches, NGOs, media, academic institutions and donors.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and support for team to improve in key identified growth areas through regular monitoring of performance plans.
• Model a high standard of personal Christian leadership, ministry and integrity though lifestyle and work relationships, and provide spiritual guidance to the staff.
• Ensure legal compliance in all areas of programmatic design and implementation.
• Ensure all program areas are following Living Water policies and procedures.
• Work in collaboration with Regional leadership to develop annual plans and manage country strategic plan.
• Accountable for country budget, resources and assets, ensure financial controls and cost effectiveness in accordance with Living Water policies.
Qualifications Requises
• University degree in international development, Social Science or relevant field.
• At least 5 years of program management experience in developing country.
• Highly proficient in French, Haitian Creole and English.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the WASH sector with program design, strategy implementation and leadership.
• Experience in dealing with major donors, like corporations, government agencies, etc.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects and their effectiveness.
• Has up to date knowledge of best practices in both national and international WASH strategies.
• Oral communication /Presentation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
