MatCH Health Systems is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand. MatCH is committed to supporting the millennium development goals aimed at gender equity, maternal and child health and combatting HIV. These guide our work which focuses on sexual and reproductive health and HIV treatment and care. MatCH supports health systems strengthening including service delivery, capacity building and technical support. MatCH conducts clinical, behavioural and operations research.
MatCH is looking for the following staff to join their Health Systems Team based in Haiti.
Fonctions
To support the management of MatCH’s Monitoring and Evaluation activities. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and evaluation including implementation plans, overseeing staff, data quality, drafting and updating M&E plans, reviewing data, reporting and operations research. This position will also provide technical support to implementing partners to reinforce data collection, data quality assessment and reporting at the site level. The incumbent will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders and support capacity building activities for data management and M&E with a focus on data utilisation.

Key Performance Areas
• Oversee M&E activities.
• Data analysis and utilization.
• Planning and resource allocation.
• Conduct quality assurance and improve the quality of data.
• Training & capacity building for M&E team & clinical staff.
• Provide technical support to the Ministry of Health at the District DOH & Provincial DOH on M&E and data utilization.
• Assist with Staff management
• Effective self-management and performance ownership.
Qualifications Requises
Required education and training
• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in the Monitoring and Evaluation field.
• Drivers licence and own transport; willingness to travel.
Minimum work experience
• 5 years’ experience in the Monitoring and Evaluation Field.
Conditions particulières
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
• Masters Degree in public health, epidemiology or social science; statistics, research methods related field.
• Data management & analysis software experience.
• M&E training experience.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Ability to handle a varied, busy and pressurized work load.
• Previous management, training and mentoring of staff.
