Fonctions

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of human resources or personnel departments
• Plan human resource requirements in conjunction with other departmental managers
• Co-ordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities
• Develop and implement labour relations policies and procedures and negotiate collective agreements
• Administer employee development, language training and health and safety programs
• Advise and assist other departmental managers on interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs
• Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
• Organize and conduct employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits and compensation and participate actively on various joint committees
• Direct the organization's quality management program
• Conduct and follow up on compliance audits


Qualifications Requises

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Psychology or Industrial Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the area
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Results-oriented
- Focused and detail-oriented professional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- French and English are a must
- Priority will be given to candidates who also speak Spanish


Conditions particulières

The position requires frequent in-town trips and candidates should have their own vehicle. A vehicle allowance will be included for fuel and maintenance.


Conditions de travail

Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
