Introduction
Build Change (www.buildchange.org) is an award-winning, international non-profit social enterprise that specializes in post-earthquake reconstruction. Build Change has extensive experience working in Banda Aceh and Sumatra, Indonesia and Sichuan, China, The Philippines, Columbia, Guatemala and Nepal. In Haiti, Build Change provides hands-on technical assistance and training directly to homeowners and builders during the rebuilding process to enable them to build safe homes that will withstand a future earthquake.
Fonctions
• - Collect and coordinate data collection from the departments on a regular basis in order to produce program reporting documents;
• - Coordinate the flow of information for a USAID-funded project, to ensure the process is followed and data is accurately collected, entered, archived and processed
• - Analyze compiled statistical information and report relevant emerging patterns to management.
• - Participate in setting up program database, and indicators’ tracking system, according to donors/Build Change requirements
• - Provide support to officers using mobile devices for data collection
• - Maintain frequent contact with Build Change Managers and all the Teams assisting with any requests.
• - Request regular activity updates from other program departments.
• - Produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• - Represent beneficiary needs by providing management with regular homeowner feedback and personal stories.
• - Share any relevant general program observations or concerns to program management and the M&E team.
• - Conduct all activities in an organized, tidy and professional manner.
• - Provide other M&E tasks as required and needed by supervisor
Qualifications Requises
University Diploma or degree in a relevant field
A minimum of Three years of monitoring and evaluation work experience at the supervisory level preferred.
Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet programs and data base management;
Experience designing and overseeing M&E data collecting and reporting skills in development projects, USAID or other international donor experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage information data bases using appropriate software application.
Experience developing and/or using performance monitoring plans or similar tools.
Must be a creative and strategic thinker who is good at problem solving.
Demonstrated research and analytical skills and ability to implement, operationalize, and manage information collection and assessment systems.
Ability to work in a team environment and train staff on program implementation.
Strong writing, reporting and presentational skills.
