The role of the Quality Control Coordinator is to provide effective support and information related to Product and Packaging quality under the direction of the Quality & Environmental Director. The Quality Control Coordinator must be able to perform in a team environment; providing consultant skills that involve a high degree of integration and coordination. Must be capable of effective interaction with multiple levels of the organization from the shop floor to the management. Ensure compliance with the compagny standard and requirement (KORE requirements, ISO 9K /14K/18K & FSSC 22K) during porduction of Goods. This role will specifically lead efforts to improve the production Quality Index, FTR (first time right), Quality Audits, consumer complaints and chemical analyses and proficiencies.
Fonctions
Technical
Monitor physico-chemical laboratory analyses, testing, evaluation of materials and products to ensure conformance to standards & specifications at Start up, during and at the end of production.
Monitor and maintain laboratory reagents, supplies and equipment.
Take immediate actions based on the results of Laboratory technician when test values are off.
Monitor all the quality parameters of Products during the entire production (water for production, syrup, finished beverage, etc., on a daily and month-to-date basis.
Monitor the sanitation and sterilization schedules and procedures of process equipment such as syrup tanks and lines, filters, etc. are strictly and effectively followed by the personnel concerned.
Keep Record and files of all testing and verification performed by the laboratory
Instructs the personnel concerned to follow the Production code of finished goods.
Control that the security and safety measures on the process areas are strictly implemented.
Maintain and upgrade operators and technicians skills by continuous “floor training”.
Require that proper housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practices is consistently maintained and observed.
Safety, health and environment
Increases awareness about safety at workplace.
Reports and monitors any deviation.
Control that the security and safety measures on the process areas are strictly implemented.
Participates in Root Cause Analysis for each accident occurring in the areas under his responsibility
Budget
Prepares and proposes annual budget (Uniforms, reagents, lab equipment’s, external calibration etc...)
Cost Management
Engages actively in cost reduction in his departments
Regularly examines and sets priorities in collaboration with the Quality Director
Training & Organization
Provide professional guidance and coaching of technicians, specialists & Operator
Strategy and structure
Develops a long term plan for actions together with the Quality Director – aimed improving of the quality of products and laboratory performance.
Other tasks that may be assigned by the Quality Director.
Qualifications Requises
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Professional License in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Chemistry or equivalent.
Preferably 1-3 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Chemical or equivalent.
Preferably familiar with Bottling or Manufacturing operations.
Preferably experienced and/or has expertise in Analytical and Quality Control/ Assurance operations.
Be able to perform under pressure with High attention to detail and accuracy
Has the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
Facilitates teamwork and can work effectively with others especially those from various disciplines.
Productive and flexible to keep up w/ work demands.
Possesses good communication skills, pleasing and dynamic personality & can relate to people at different levels and functions.
Familiar with ISO Standards will be a plus: ISO 9001: 2005, 14000: 2005 & 22002-1-2009, and OSHA 18000: 2008.
