Responsible for data collection and entry duties, assist MCSP in preparation of reports, analysis and other related duties assigned by the supervisor, for the purpose of the study on misoprostol for the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage at the community level. This is a consultant position and work is equivalent to about 107 days of work, depending on study needs.
Fonctions
1. Participate in study protocol and data collection trainings
2. Travel monthly to study sites
3. Develop template for data analysis.
4. Collect data as per the study protocol.
5. Work with providers to ensure data are being collected correctly.
6. Pre-screen all input before data entry.
7. Enter data and check for accuracy.
8. Prepare and produce analysis and reports as assigned or requested.
9. Adhere to format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
10. Communicate needs and requests to other team members as appropriate.
11. Follow misoprostol protocol regarding data confidentiality/security.
12. Communicate all updates or any issues relating to data collection or anything else study-related with principal investigators
13. Check the implementation of transport and storage procedures of collected data
14. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requises
Required: Certificate in M&E or Data Collection
Desirable: Diploma in M&E
Required: One (1) year experience in data collection and entry.
• Intermediate skill level with MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Type 60 wpm
• Data Collection and Entry Experience (minimum 1 year)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Preference given to those with experience in human subjects research data collection
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals
• Takes initiative to carry out and finish tasks
• Ability to relate professionally and positively with staff, business partners, customers, constituents, recipients and the public
