Cross International is searching for a Project Officer to heir), administer an H1V/AIDS program financed by PEPFAR. Program focus is primarily OVC, init also involves prevention, PMTCT, testing, and palliative care.

Assisting and coordinating with the Program Manager in planning, organizing and monitoring Cross International program activities through the Cross Haiti Alliance partners.
Providing logistical and institutional support to the partner organizations in the field to ensure that activities are being implemented according to work plans and budgets, that interventions are being tracked and monitored and that targets are being reached.

At least two years of experience in I-IIV and AIDS community based programs, particularly in youth prevention and OVC.
Formal public health or community health training from an accredited university.
Experience in monitoring and evaluation of HIV and AIRS community based programs.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to travel extensively within Haiti.
Fluency in French and Creole - written and oral English a plus.
Experience with USAID/ PEPFAR Programs is a plus.
Excellent computer skills in Word and Excel.
Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines

While the position is based in Port-au-Prince, candidates must be available for regular travel to the Grand’Anse, South and Central Plateau regions.
