Introduction

Good Neighbors International is a humanitarian non-governmental organization, whose mission is to improve the lives of others especially those of children through education, community development, health services, sanitation, and disaster relief projects.
Good Neighbors opened its field office in Haiti on July 2010, in response to the devastated earthquake on January 12 of the same year. Good Neighbors launched emergency relief aid as post-earthquake responses and served as channel between donors and the affected people in the community after the earthquake. Furthermore Good Neighbors involved in rebuild the most affected communities and accomplished successful fruitions through various projects for example emergency relief, medical services, sanitation, income generation, child sponsorship, construction of shelters and school reconstruction.

In order to continue to implement its programs in Haiti, Good Neighbors is currently looking for a new Coordinator for the Income Generation Division (IGD Coordinator). Under the supervision of the Operation Department Manager, the IGD Coordinator will coordinate the income generation program of Good Neighbors in Haiti. The purpose of this program is to create growth and sustainable economic development in the community.


Fonctions

• Plan, organize and conduct all the activities related to IG programs.
• Plan, organize and conduct training sessions for CDC, Community leaders, surveyors and beneficiaries of the projects.
• Organize and conduct KAP survey, HH assessment and data research.
• Prepare and submit yearly IG POA.
• Prepare and submit regularly proposals according to the reality of field.
• Organize and conduct leaders meeting.
• Monitor closely the main the progress of the projects.
• Plan and Assure community mobilization.
• Prepare and Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.


Qualifications Requises

• Bachelor in Economics, Agricultural economics or Sciences of development.
• Good knowledge and experience in social entrepreneurship and community leadership
• Demonstrated experience of 3 years working in Community Development Projects.
• Strong knowledge of Participative tools as GRANT DIAGRAM, MARP, SWOT ANALYSIS…
• Strong knowledge of computing as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Internet…
• Good capacity to work in team, in difficult field and to manage several fields at the same time.
• Flexibility, ardor, honesty, and innovation’s mind.
• Fluent in writing and speaking both English and French
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Wants to grow professionally and personally
