The EQUIP Consortium/Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health Systems (MatCH) seeks a project coordinator for its Haiti program. EQUIP is a consortium of partners under Right to Care comprising of MatCH (Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health), Partners in Hope, Kheth’Impilo, the Health Economics & Epidemiology Research Office (HE2RO), ANOVA Health and the South Africa National Health Laboratory Service. EQUIP has an international grant to implement projects in five key solution areas - innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment, and foster on-going adherence & retention; approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising “Test and Start” strategies in countries in Africa, South East Asia and the Caribbean. MatCH is the lead partner in Haiti
Fonctions
• Planning and coordinating site visits to priority facilities
• Participating in the design of data collection tools and standard operating procedures for site visits
• Conducting patient file audits and programme reviews of HIV counseling and ART activities at facilities
• Conducting assessment interviews with policy makers and other implementing partners
• Providing on site mentoring for clinical services
• Implementing quality improvement processes and assessments at facilities
• Compiling reports
• Ensuring service delivery interventions are implemented rapidly, in-line with project plans and established outcomes
• Other duties as necessary
Qualifications Requises
• Post-graduate degree or equivalent in public health, medicine or related field
• Operational and/or clinical research experience in Haiti
• Fluency in French/Haitian Creole required
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of facility and community-based health programs
• Knowledge of programs funded by USAID/PEPFAR desirable
• Flexibility to travel to field sites
