IntroductionFonctions
• Develop jointly with the executive director and the board, work plans for the next two years while ensuring the monitoring of activities/milestones is timely and reliable.
• Responsible for annual operational budget, and programmatic reporting to the ABN Board, the funders and other partners (in collaboration with ED)
• Write and compile narrative and budgetary reports for donors, ABN Board and strategic partners (in collaboration with ED).
• Participate in program strategy development and donor cultivation.
• Additional duties may be entrusted to the position within the project demands.
• Update the Operations and Human Resources Manual for ABN (policies and procedures according to local laws) as needed.
• Review existing management tools.
• Assist in the implementation of new structures/systems and train staff effectively.
• Manage technical aspects of the procurement process and conduct appraisals.
Qualifications Requises
• Degree in a related area with a minimum of 5 years experience in management, or at least 5 years of increasing experience as a manager/controller having worked with international organizations.
• Recognized professional with demonstrated practical understanding of management principles.
• Must be familiar with Haitian artisan sector and artisans.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of grants management preferred.
• Experience with USAID, EU, FOMIN/IDB preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain consistent operational standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and government laws.
• Proficiency in English, French and Haitian Creole.
• Be dedicated to providing superior services at all levels of the organization.
In addition, the candidate must:
• Be able to work under stressful situations and maintain high level of performance
• Have excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and Quick Books
• Submit resume with three (3) professional recommendations
• Provide copies of diploma(s) and/or certification(s)
