GENERAL PURPOSE: Make sure that projects move along seamlessly through the work process from start to completion. Provide accurate update to the Assistant/Coordinator to ensure communication updates are shared with the team. Schedule activities and establish objectives.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Provide and ensure data accuracy of metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
• Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
• Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
• Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
• Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
• Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
• Negotiate transportation rates or services.
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications.
• Provide information to contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
• Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.

• Licensed Customs Agent/ broker licensed
• +5 years of Import/Export experience
• Bachelor Degree preferred
