Job Summary
The WASH Coordinator is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational water supply, sanitation and hygiene intervention solutions as support to church partner within the program outcomes framework. As a leader in this field, the WASH coordinator oversees the WASH project in Plateau Central that will support the program implementation within the complementary interventions to achieve programmatic outcomes in order to effectively fulfill Compassion’s mission.
Qualifications Requises
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requested
1. Mature Christian, based on evangelical Christian values; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and above reproach in integrity and honesty.
2. University degree in Civil Engineering/Hydrology, or Postgraduate/specialized training in water, hygiene and sanitation, or other related discipline.
4. Minimum of 3 years professional experience in managing of WASH in Community.
5. Strong problem identification and problem solving skills
6. Ability to execute a budget.
7. Strong communication skills/reporting.
8. High proficiency in English (written & oral)
9. Ability to network and build partnership opportunities with other organizations.
10. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities to develop support with the staff and to interact with churches and partner projects.
11. Computer literate, experience with the internet, applications of Microsoft Office and presentation software.
12. Ability to travel domestically.
