Primary objective of the job:
To manage and supervise all construction financed by the Foundation
Number of persons Managed/Supervised and their positions:
Contracted site supervisors – number will vary depending on requirements at given time
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Construction
• Define construction standards for model schools adhering to architectural and structural plans as provided by selected firm
• Define scope of work for all new construction projects
• Perform bids for all new constructions and ensure budget is respected
• Ensure contracts are signed with all contractors for new projects and terms are respected
• Supervise the construction sites and ensure plans and standards are respected
• Prepare seminars for constructions firms working with the foundation as needed
Other
• Manage and respect appointed annual budget for all projects
• Draft reports and updates on projects and activities for donors, partners, board etc.
• Assist in coordinating any other activities organized by the foundation such as Volunteer Days, Fairs etc.
• All other duties requested by the CEO
