Introduction
The Customer Service Manager will responsible for all phases of consumer registration and accounting, “one-point service”, carrying out programs promoting effective uses of electricity by consumers, and activities to enhance consumer participation in PPSELD. Works directly with consumers and community leaders to accomplish the tasks. Assists employees in understanding objectives of PPSELD.
Fonctions
Primary duties and responsibilities:
a) Develop and manage an effective operation of “one-point service”;
b) Develop proactive and effective customer outreach program to communicate consumer rights and obligations as PPSELD customers and to promote healthy community relations for the utility;
c) Develop and implement a community outreach program to engage community and political leaders with the goal of enhancing understanding between PPSELD and the communities it serves;
d) Establish and manage customer service center(s) to provide seamless linkage between PPSELD customers and the Customer Service staff;
e) Oversee PPSELD meter reading and billing procedures;
f) Manage all phases of new consumer connections
g) Manage timely and fair disconnection procedures to assure prompt collections of billings;
h) Explain the requirements for house wiring to prospective consumers;
i) Develop and manage a program of information to consumers on proper use of electricity with emphasis on safety and energy efficiency;
General duties and responsibilities:
a) Prepares annual work plan of activities and budget for consumer participation activities in use of electricity and in development of PPSELD;
b) Conducts demonstrations, prepares exhibits and leaflets, and makes presentations on how to use electricity effectively and safely;
c) Handles and resolves consumer complaints;
d) Advises consumers on purchase and care of wiring, meters, lighting, and electrical appliances and equipment;
e) Oversees the efficient operation of wiring inspectors to assure compliance with PPSELD policy and procedures;
f) Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requises
a) Must be socially engaging and capable of working with community leadership, local political leadership, and leading PPSELD Customer Service team.
b) Should possess thorough knowledge of communication technology and techniques; have working knowledge of social media; and have advanced working knowledge of mobile payment modalities and functionality.
c) Skilled and able to work effectively in a large organization, and willing to accept direction from superiors.
d) Able to provide motivation and supervision to employees under his direction.
e) Task oriented to assure completion of tasks timely, within financial constraints, and with quality.
f) Able to work long and flexible hours.
a) Master Degree in Business or Management with at least four years management experience.
b) Experience in planning and organizing operations for a service oriented enterprise is beneficial.
c) Capability for the development and implementation of operational methods and procedures.
d) Ability to supervise and influence people.
e) Proficiency in organizational planning.
f) Record of personal integrity.
