Fonctions
The CFO /VP is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and manage accounting, financial reporting and control, budgeting, financial analysis, Haitian & US tax, support audits and provide management with the critical information necessary to make key decisions in a timely fashion.
• Take ownership for business process and continuous improvement. Plan, develop, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
• Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual management presentations to communicate progress versus business and financial plans reporting. Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner
• Oversee the development of short and long range capital plans that will provide for adequate capital to meet current and future needs through the development of an economic capital model.
• Manage and minimize tax liabilities through planning, researching, executing and defending all federal, state, local and foreign taxes applicable to the company.
• Drive and manage the funding process, debt management, factoring, investments, cash management and insurance, ensuring that the company has adequate capital.
• Develop departmental budgets that will help assess, and support compensation for performance yearly evaluations, succession planning adjustments, KPI bonus allocation support that compliments organizational growth.
• Manage and enhance our the customer billing /payment process including establishing and adjusting customer credit if necessary,
• Foster and maintain strong partnerships with the other functional groups to ensure that finance plays an integral role, both in the day-to-day decision-making process and in creating corporate and departmental strategic plans.
• Deliver accurate and timely analysis and financial modeling to provide assistance and support to the management team in adjusting business goals and assumptions.
• Lead bank and credit facility negotiations and relationship management.
• Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the Company’s policies and operations.
• Provide oversight, finance and accounting management and control over key expenses.
• Manage business real estate issues including company leasing, property divestiture and acquisition and landlord / tenant issues.
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
Qualifications Requises
• Masters in Fiscal Management (preferred) Bachelor’s Degree
• 7-15 plus years in experience
• Strong Leadership and Analytical Fiscal Management
• Open to Working in Haiti Textile Industry
