Fonctions

The Director of Operations will be responsible for providing direction to the execution of quality product manufacturing at the Company's largest manufacturing operations in Haiti. This position will be responsible for overall operations to include: administration and management of the site Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehousing and Distribution, Security, Environmental Health and Safety. This operations has many employees producing millions in units, which represents some of the “top key Brand” names in the United States.


Performance Profile:
• Develop standards of manufacturing principals and standards of operations, while driving KPI results.
• Manufacture of products, with focus on meeting customer demand & customer service levels, quality of production, and manufacturing cost standards.
Analyze regular business & promotional forecasts and provide sufficient manufacturing capacity to achieve business plans as presented by Supply Planning function.
• Establish priorities, set intervals and monitor results for all areas of work to ensure specific commitments and standards are achieved.
• Maximize the utilization of manufacturing resources through rigorous review of production processes and evaluation of in-house and outsourcing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a favorable work environment for workers and staff at all levels.
• Responsible for the preparation of departmental budgets, standards and the tracking and accomplishment of business operations.
• Implement all international and customer requirements (WRAP, CTPAT, SGS, etc.) that relate to safety programs and good manufacturing practice and compliance practices.
• Implement and monitor control measures to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
• Analyze and resolve site manufacturing-related issues.
• Develop and implement strategic improvements to plant and procedures, including the development and implementation of long-term capital planning.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments in the successful achievement of objectives, including: Distribution, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, & Engineering, R&D/Quality, Supply Planning, Procurement, Finance, Information Management and HR.

Team Management:
• Establish business objectives and annual performance metrics.
• Recruit, onboard and ensure new hires are trained to effectively perform responsibilities and develop skills.
• Maintain a flexible trained workforce to meet fluctuating demands.
• Provide quality fact-based performance management feedback/reviews, coaching and periodic career discussions.
• Ensure operations and company training implemented, as necessary.
• Working Plant Manufactures and Head engineer to create succession plans and ensure appropriate development plans are developed and implemented.


Qualifications Requises

• 7-10 years of Manufacturing/ Operations experience
• Master’s Degree ( Preferred) Bachelor Degree is a must • Certified in Lean Manufacturing •Open to work in Haiti

Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
