Suite au lancement du nouveau projet agricole FEED THE FUTURE WEST HAITI financé par l’Agence de Développement International des Etats-Unis (USAID), Chemonics International Inc. recherche des candidats qualifiés pour plusieurs postes de travail. Basé à Port-au-Prince, il vise à améliorer la vie des agriculteurs dans ses zones d’intervention.
Fonctions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement the IT systems in accordance to design specifications and requirements as set by the project.
• Ensure that all the computer servers and network equipment can function in a complete and secure local area network.
• Administer IT system upgrades and provide support when issues or problems occur.
• Provide technical advice to the IT Help Desk Assistant on the maintenance of project servers, computer systems, planning for and responding to service outages and other IT related problems.
• Maintain and update the project website.
• Monitor, improve and update the performance of existing project website.
• Coordinate with the Web Development team on web content structure enhancement and content uploading.
• As a member of the FEED THE FUTURE WEST HAITI team, ensure implementation of project activities in accordance with Chemonics’ business code of ethics and USAID and Chemonics policies and regulations.
• Perform any other task that is consistent with the IT Specialist skills and experience and this Scope of Work.
Qualifications Requises
QUALIFICATIONS and KEY COMPETENCIES
• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, programming, or other related field
• Experience in Haiti working on donor-funded projects. USAID project experience is highly desirable.
• Experience managing project IT systems
• Exercise good, professional judgment that reflects positively on the image and communicates the established program message of the FEED THE FUTURE WEST HAITI project.;
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a professional and cordial manner with fellow staff members, subcontractors and vendors, governmental entities, support organizations, and the general public; set a positive example for support staff.
• Language Skills: Fluent French, Creole, and functional English are required (both writing and speaking).
