ABOUT THE JOB:
FONKOZE is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead the Bookkeeping, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting division. In that function she/he is responsible for the correct bookkeeping of all SFF transactions, the preparation of the financial statements and SFF’s reporting towards the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH). Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for the reconciliation of the financial statements with the internal management reports. The Chief Accountant leads and coaches employees assigned to the bookkeeping and accounting and regulatory reporting division.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of the financial statements of the company, including annual, quarterly and monthly financial reports
• Preparation of Reporting Requirements from BRH
• Data management and reconciliations
• Internal and External audits
• Policies, Procedures and Controls
• Training & Coaching
• Support the Director of Finance in the development of the department


Qualifications Requises

• Holder of a recognized Accounting designation, preferable (CPA)
• Member of Ordre des Comptables Professionnels Agréés d’Haïti (OCPAH)
• University degree in Banking and/or Finance
• At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience and prior experience in similar setting
• Excellent communication skills in Creole, French and English
• Strong interpersonal, mathematical, technological, analytical, and writing skills in Creole, French and English
