Introduction

IDG is seeking an experienced Junior Local Economist with expertise in economic and financial analysis related to public infrastructure projects and or Public Private Partnerships, and experience working with donor projects, for a long-term assignment to support a USAID funded activity in Haiti.


Fonctions

• Work with international experts in planning and implementing the overall project
• Support international and local experts in delivering cost benefit analysis (CBA) training courses
• Support project staff and participants in identification of CBA projects for support throughout the project
• Serve as local representative for the overall project providing regular updates to project staff and the client as required
• Work with local government agencies to ensure the work plan is implemented on time
• Support implementation of CBA projects as identified with cooperating agencies
• Provide inputs for regular reporting documents and other project deliverables including work plans


Qualifications Requises

• Masters or Bachelors degree in economics, trade economics or a related field required;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field including economic and financial analysis for example of infrastructure or public private partnerships
• Project planning and management experience preferred;
• Strong communications, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; excellent report writing abilities required;
• Experience working on USAID projects preferred; additional donor projects and/or government projects a plus;
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and French required
