o Manage fellow engineers and track daily production priorities.
o Promotes company vision and supports plant culture.
o Evaluate and recommend the best industrial structures, processes and systems to support the out business objectives.
o Develop capacity plans to look at current demand and projected growth of products based on production capabilities both internal and external.
o Perform thorough an analysis to determine the strategic importance of the product from a Brand development and proprietary technology perspective.
MANUFACTURING:
o Follows, understands, and trains team to all policies and procedures; including quality and production SOPs, safety and customer standards of the Group.
o Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive Industrial Engineering program aimed at optimizing production efficiency and continuous improvement.
o Execute traditional Industrial Engineering projects processing facilities domestically and/or internationally, broadly applying the principles of TPM (Total Performance Management).
o Maintains and improves upon production efficiencies, waste reduction, and process improvements.
o Work with manufacturing and production teams to develop and implement action plan(s) to resolve recurring waste issues.
o Reports any defective materials or questionable conditions to plant manager and/or maintenance.
SUPPLY CHAIN:
o Execute traditional Industrial Engineering projects involving Logistics facilities, incorporating 5S , LEAN and advance industrial performance improvement principals
o Work with supply chain manager to develop and implement action plans to resolve material flow issues.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
o Maintain and Develop SOPs and Preventive Maintenance for processes and equipment.
o Apply traditional project management techniques to facilitate work process improvements across divisions/functions (Quality, Finance, Engineering, Safety & Environmental etc.)
o Implement new corporate work processes and standards to improve quality performance across the value chain: from suppliers, through manufacturing, to customer delivery.
o Identify opportunities to streamline execution of compliance audits across the group enterprise, gain buy-in of your ideas to key stakeholders, and implement recommendations.
Qualifications Requises
Must possess 10 years of experience in Industrial Engineer & Manufacturing.
Strong Manager and team building skills
Hands on experience in Textile production Standards, CTPAT, WRAP, and Quality and OSH safety audits.
Competencies Required:
• Leadership skills, Good inter-personal skills & a team player
• Computer skills, such as MS Word, and MS Excel
• Languages: English, French, Creole and the ability to communicate effectively.
