Lead Livelihoods Liaison Office
Fonctions
The Lead Livelihoods Liaison Office (LLLO) will be responsible for overseeing the quality and timely realization of activities under the Canaan Upgrading and Community Development (CUCD) Program to create a more dynamic and equitable livelihoods sector by reducing market barriers and inefficiencies, and stimulating new economic opportunities in Canaan, outside Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. The LLLO will ensure that all livelihoods efforts anticipated respond to the identified community needs, and that they are implemented in direct coordination with activities that will create a better functioning and more resilient urban area, through the carefully planned neighborhood upgrading, and urban management initiatives under the program.
Qualifications Requises
Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS or equivalent university degree required; Masters or other advanced degree preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in managing livelihoods support and/or economic development programs
• Experience working with low-income communities and government counterparts preferred
• Fluency in Haitian Creole or French required; Fluency in English preferred

• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills,
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under stressful conditions;
• High level of maturity, good judgment, flexibility and integrity of character;
• Cultural sensitivity, and an ability to engage in with local leaders, municipal representatives, micro and small business owners, and community based organizations, and other stakeholders
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Conditions de travail
Location : Full-time local position based out of the PADF-Haiti office in Port-au-Prince
Duration of the assignment: Anticipated July 2015
