(Creative) is a dynamic and fast-growing professional services firm that specializes in international development in the areas of education, democratic transitions and stabilization in post-conflict environments. Based in Washington, D.C., the firm has presence in 20 countries worldwide. Creative is seeking candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded education project in Haiti, based in Port-au-Prince.
Fonctions
The objective of the four year project (“Retounen Lekol”) is to support the Haitian Ministry of Education to increase safe and equitable access to quality education for out-of-school children and youth aged 12-18 through the provision of an accelerated learning program and to strengthen the Ministry’s and other stakeholders’ capacity to sustain such programs. Creative is looking to assemble a strong team whose combined skills and experience can achieve these goals. Please see the list of positions and required qualifications stated below:
Qualifications Requises
Master’s degree in education, international development or equivalent experience in educational programs.
At least 8 years of relevant technical and management experience in education development projects in Haiti with knowledge of Haiti’s educational system.
Experience with projects supporting curriculum and material development, teacher training and coaching, government capacity building, and program management systems preferred.
Experience working with USAID-funded programs and government officials, local counterparts, donors, and other stakeholders.
Fluency in English, French and Haitian Creole is required.
