Creative Associates International, Inc. (Creative) is a dynamic and fast-growing professional services firm that specializes in international development in the areas of education, democratic transitions and stabilization in post-conflict environments. Based in Washington, D.C., the firm has presence in 20 countries worldwide. Creative is seeking candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded education project in Haiti, based in Port-au-Prince.
Fonctions
The objective of the four year project (“Retounen Lekol”) is to support the Haitian Ministry of Education to increase safe and equitable access to quality education for out-of-school children and youth aged 12-18 through the provision of an accelerated learning program and to strengthen the Ministry’s and other stakeholders’ capacity to sustain such programs. Creative is looking to assemble a strong team whose combined skills and experience can achieve these goals. Please see the list of positions and required qualifications stated below:
Qualifications Requises
Master’s degree in education, international development or related field; PhD desirable
Minimum 10 years of experience in international development and management, including project planning, staff and financial management for large scale USAID education programs
Knowledge of accelerated/alternative education programs with previous senior leadership experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to develop relations with government officials, local counterparts, donors, and other stakeholders
Experience in Haiti with capacity building and as a manager of programs is strongly desired with knowledge of current social, political, and economic circumstances in the region
Fluency in English and French is required; Haitian Creole is preferred.
