IntroductionFonctions
Description of the position:
• The primary objective of this position is to establish a robust Risk and Control environment in the branch through consistent adherence to established and emerging Citi policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor account reconciliation processes and transaction procedures to ensure appropriate execution. Identify opportunities to implement efficiencies and enhance reconciliation processes.
• Supervise and ensure appropriate handling of “Unclaimed Items”.
• Ensure proper registration in EDCS database, of all operational losses with equal to or greater than the established threshold amount stated in the Operational Risk policy or local regulation.
• Provide support to O&T management, providing root cause analysis for all risk or control issues in order to implement timely correction to controls processes.
• Participate in monthly Balance Sheet review sessions in regard to POA results.
• Conduct random testing for Balance Sheet accounts under Operations Management as part of the account testing process (POA) with the objective to identify any potential risks.
• Follow up on the completion of all regulatory reports under responsibility of operations.
• Reconcilement of Suspense Accounts: accounts receivables, accounts payables, deferred accounts, advances.
• Report to the regional TTS Management team all TTS operational losses and potential operational loss events.
• Provide operational support in the development of Product Programs across business areas.
• Develop strong relationships with regional processing centers (e.g. COEs, HUBs) and collaborate in improving operations processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors in all aspects that relate to Internal Control and Operational processes.
• ICAPs administration: Issue and CAP MIS Reporting. Ensure that all issues identified have a PRC related control. Awareness and best practices regarding identified issues. Issues escalation and reporting.
• Fraud management: Root Cause Analysis & Support Investigations, Implement process, procedures and MCA enhancements related to Fraud events.
• Training and awareness of Control Standards and Processes, including delivery of classroom-based trainings (when required).
• QA of MCA monitoring tools Independent tester.
• MCA reporting (score card, rating and rationale).
Qualifications Requises
Job Requirements:
Education:
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineer, or related careers
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Other skills:
• Strong abilities in written and verbal English.
Experience:
• At least two years of experience in business risk and controls for financial services company.
• One or more years of experience in the area of process controls or related areas.
