Chemonics seeks deputy chief of party candidates and technical specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded early grade reading program. This program aims to improve reading and writing skills in Haitian Creole and French for 100 million children in primary grades in the development corridors of Cap Haitien, Saint Marc, and Port-au-Prince. Fonctions
o Role:
Responsible for supporting the chief of party with the day-to-day management of the project.
Oversee cross-cutting programmatic elements of implementation, including communications, community engagement, gender, and inclusion.
Supervise regional program managers for St. Marc and Cap Haitien and oversees roll out of activities at the provincial level.
Build and maintain relationships with MENFP and other local partners.
Ensure synchronization of work amongst subcontractors and local partners.
Qualifications Requises
o Qualifications
Senior management experience in education development projects in Haiti, with progressively increasing responsibilities in managing education development projects and teams.
Knowledge of education programs, curriculum and material development, teacher training and coaching, government capacity building, and program management systems.
Experience working with the MENFP.
Experience in working with local partners and other donors active in the education sector.
Fluency in English and French and Haitian Creole is required.
Haitian resident is highly preferred.
