International NGO needs to recruit a part time M&E officer
Position based in Port-au-Prince with frequent trips on the field
Contract length 1year renewable upon conditions
Fonctions
SOME SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop/Adapt systems and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of all operations, and support their implementation in all areas of intervention;
• Advise and provide necessary supports on methodological approaches to implementation of a strong monitoring system;
• Implement participatory evaluation approaches, establish appropriate and effective structures to monitor and measure impacts;
• Promote quality standards set by the institution, ensure their comprehension and ownership by all staff and partners.
• Conduct program/projects’ impacts’ assessments and provide regular monitoring reports to all required stakeholders;
• Define methodological framework for strengthening partners ‘capacity and assess impacts;
Qualifications Requises
Essential Experience
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Planning, monitoring and evaluation social at a well known institution preferably INGO
• Understanding of programming issues, policy work at state, national and international levels and Emergency work.
• Understanding of major donors requirements and contract managements
• Understanding and knowledge of State’s report requirements.
• Relevant understanding of gender issues in development and demonstrable commitment to promoting gender equality within the organization and in programme work.
• Familiar with budget management
• Strong communictation skills in French and English is a must
