Position: SIDALE Project Officer – Health Systems Strengthening
JOB PURPOSE :
Catholic Medical Mission Board, Inc., (CMMB), the leading faith-based global healthcare NGO, is expanding operations in Haiti to support new program opportunities. CMMB is poised to add additional talented professionals to the existing staff in Port-Au-Prince. Currently, the organization seeks a Project Officer – Health System Strengthening (PO-HSS) for SIDALE project. The overall PO-HSS responsibility is to strengthen institutional capacity of the hospitals toward sustainability. The PO-HSS reports to the SIDALE Program Director.
Fonctions
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. Develop/review the HSS strategy for the program and oversee implementation
2. Assess and support institutional capacity strengthening for sustainability
3. Coordinate development and dissemination of organizational planning tools, training modules, policies and procedures to support program implementation.
4. Facilitate the implementation of continuous professional development (CPD) trainings for management track
5. Coordinate and review work planning, monitor progress and submit status reports
6. Support identification of potential HSS partners for synergy and resource optimization.
7. Strengthen institutional capacity to improve efficiency and effectiveness
8. Document and disseminate best practices
Qualifications Requises
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITY
• Five years community based HIV programming experience. Home-based care and/or community-based VCT experience valued.
• Higher diploma or degree in Public Health and Development
• Diploma in management of health services.
