Summary of essential job functions
• Read and understand all customer spec’s and BOM’s
• Work with suppliers on raw materials’ development and follow up lab dips according to customer’s pre-determined calendar(s).
o Get customers' approvals on developments in a timely manner
o Maintain tracking charts for all development projects (lab dips, trim sourcing, etc.)
o Maintain T&A Calendars and other customer related reports
• Work with Engineering to produce samples during the development stage
o Ensure all materials are ordered accurately and timely for sample orders and manage orders through to arrival at port
o Assist in leading sample room manager for customer due dates per T&A calendars
o Keep a database of all suppliers, items and price updates
• Receive and accept customer PO's after confirming prices with Valdor and after confirming shipping date based on Raw Materials ETA and based on Input from Production (Manufacturing Lead Time)
• Purchase raw materials
o Create/Update BOM for each style of customer PO and upload/maintain on NGC
o Use BOM, customer PO, and most updated specs to calculate raw materials needed
o Issue purchase orders for raw materials after considering extra stock quantities
o Manage orders through to arrival at port then lead shipping to get materials in-house on-time
o Lead QC to create trims cards for each new customer PO and approve them
• Follow up on production
o Maintain the PO Log File and circulate periodically
o Communicate with customer regarding any delays or updates on deliveries
o Communicate with production coordinators regarding any updates on customer requirements
o Coordinate with production and shipping to arrange booking
