IntroductionFonctions
.Co-design foundation leadership development curriculum with Senior Researcher and Program Director
. Co-facilitate all foundation leadership training programs with Program Director
. Co-design integrated community development accompaniment activities and program evaluation with Senior Researcher and Program Director
. Manage PDL field team and partner organizations in accompaniment activities
. Support the research team on identification of a production of case studies, review, analysis of case, and editing
. 40-60% domestic travel to rural haiti is required
Qualifications Requises
. A graduate degree in rural development, agriculture, development economics, or another social science
.Minimum ten years of experience working in rural development, community mobilization and local development activities, preferably in Haiti
.Demonstrated expertise working with partners in the field on sustainable livelihood and community based organizational strengthening activities
.Experience in donor-funded development activities, experience in reporting IDB related programs, or other donor-funded technical support programs
. Demonstrated expertise in Haitian local governance, decentralization, and local community development practices and theories
. Proven leadership and organizational skills, successfully managing and coordinating large and disparate work groups
. Proven record of achieving development impacts
. At least five years working in Haiti required
. Spoken and written fluency in Haitian Creole and French required, professional English, a plus
. This is not a full time position
