The Grants and Subcontracts Officer will be responsible for the following functions, but not limited to:



• Collaborate with technical staff and prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Applications (RFAs)

• Oversee the proposal evaluation process to ensure USAID and FAR competition requirements are met;

• Conduct subcontractor and/or grantee negotiations; negotiate subcontractor and/or grant provisions; and write negotiation memoranda;

• Ensure proper M&E of project’s subcontractor and grantee activities;

• Other tasks as required.

• Ensure proper M&E of project’s subcontractor and grantee activities;

• Other tasks as required.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in subcontracts or grants administration, preferably in the agriculture industry, or infrastructure works.
• Good working knowledge and experience administering USAID funded subcontracts and grants, with FAR and AIDAR regulations.
• Proven experience in writing high quality subcontracting and grants documentation including RFPs, RFA, SOWs, evaluation criteria, financial offer formats and other fundamental documents.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented individual experienced in managing competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Sound business judgment and analytical/reasoning skills.
• Fluency in Haitian Creole, French, and English required. Capacity to translate documents in either language necessary.
• Excellent writing, editing skills a must!
• University degree in a relevant field.
