THE JOB: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) division of Christian Aid. The post-holder will lead on all regional operational and strategic human resources and organizational development activities. S/he will establish and proactively build the professional capacity of the human resource function and community of practice in the region, in line with Christian Aid’s People strategy and the wider regional and global objectives, to make sure the implementation of all HR processes are aligned to the organizational strategy and in compliance with countries laws. The post-holder will proactively deliver high-quality, value-adding HR service at regional level. The post holder acts as a facilitator and business partner to promote positive labour relationships and engender positive working environments, being able to provide suitable HR solutions that lead to organizational success

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: A relevant degree with a recognised professional qualification in human resources management. We are looking for a professional with extensive knowledge of labour laws within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region as well as substantial experience working in a human resources department and dealing with a complex local/regional employment issues. Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Annual Gross Salary: ‘Band C’ of Christian Aid’s salary scales & dependent on country location.
Type of contract: Permanent
Based: Sao Paulo - Brazil or, La Paz - Bolivia or, Bogota- Colombia or Port au Prince - Haiti or Managua- Nicaragua.
