PROGRAMME & PARTNERSHIP MANAGER
Position based in Port-Au-Prince
This is a senior leadership and management position that requires a lot of commitment and confidence. This person work closely with the institution’s partners at all levels. He/She will support the local team and partners to develop, manage and coordinate in-country programme aimed at achieving the institution as well as partners strategic Objectives.
Fonctions
Key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure overall leadership, guidance and supervision of programs projects/activities to guarantee quality of technical minimum standards required for successful implementation of projects/activities including effective implementation of HRBA;
• Coordinate efforts to generate resources , strengthen relationships with donors and facilitate linkages between country program, international partnership development team, funding affiliates and AAI secretariat to deliver on the CSP;
• Develop and implement programmatic/ fundraising strategies, including relationships with all relevant stakeholders;
• Ensure that program led funding partnerships/alliances are nurtured;
• Ensure proper maintenance of an up to date profile of donors and their respective interests to guarantee retention of child links and growth;
• Explore funding sources/options within and outside the country for the programme and assist in developing fund raising strategies;
• Coordinate and support the CP and partners in their efforts to engage and build relationships with donors and thus generate more diverse resources on a sustainable basis;
• Advocate for increased effectiveness and responsiveness in donor’s responses to poverty;
• Provide leadership in contract management and development of donor relation;
• Maintain relationships with existing donors and establish new donor relationships through networking and promotional strategies
Qualifications Requises
Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and performing in a senior role of similar capacity for at least five years with appropriate educational qualifications at the Post Graduate level. Education or training in development issues will have preference.
The candidate should have excellent understanding of various humanitarian standards and code of conducts. Experience in people-centre advocacy work, with strong skills and knowledge of Human rights-based approach.
S/he should have strong analytical skills, ability to interact, influence and negotiate at senior levels and exhibit extensive understanding of social development and disaster policy and programme interventions.
Proven experience in identifying potential of funding to support in raising organizational income for community based projects establishing and coordinating relationship with different identified donors.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
