USAID launched the Local Enterprise and Value Chain Enhancement (LEVE) project to increase food and economic security. Implemented by RTI International, LEVE is designed to create jobs in target industries/sectors in the Port-au-Prince, Saint Marc, and Cap Haitien development corridors by creating more inclusive and productive value chains which will contribute to broad-based economic growth, and increase employment in Haiti.
Fonctions
RTI International is currently accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant that will provide general support to the LEVE main project office based in Port-au-Prince. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Administrative Assistant will:
· Act as receptionist for the Haiti LEVE project main office, including coordinating visitor and telephone enquiries;
· Prepare and serve refreshments as required to guests and visitors;
· Undertake office administrative duties including but not limited to preparing photo-copies, sending faxes, word processing, maintaining the filing system, collation of papers, preparation of forms and other documents, maintenance of the stationery and office supplies for the Program, support to other staff;
· Create, maintain and update office directories;
· Assist in making travel and accommodation arrangements, ensuring that the international and national travel plans are properly organized and coordinated;
· Undertake translation of documents and to act, where necessary, as a translator at meetings etc.;
· Maintain a record of staff locations and support personnel file management;
· Keep/make calendar appointments for Chief of Party;
· Provide administrative support to Chief of Party and other staff as needed;
· Assist on advertising of new positions;
· Prepare fleet management monthly report;
· Responsible for ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the office;
· Coordinate the project drivers;
· Maintain petty cash;
· Additional duties consistent with the grade and responsibility of the post.
Qualifications Requises
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2-3 years of work experience in an administrative capacity;
· Computer skills in relevant applications. Word/ Excel/ Internet/ Power point, etc.;
· Ability to speak and write English and French;
· Evidence of practical experience in International NGOs or other similar organizations.
