Summary:

Provide critical operational and financial planning input to management by conducting the following duties:

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of business plan based on the Company’s mission and vision, business strategies, and analysis of the Company’s products and services and market trends.

• Maintain corporate financial business model using Microfin or similar modeling tool, integrating latest performance trends and findings from operations, market research, pricing, product development, human resources, etc.

• Coordinate the preparation of annual operational and capital budgets for operations.

• Support the development and monitoring of cash-flow projections to help ensure the company maintains and allocates its resources in an efficient and effective manner to achieve business plan objectives and mission.

• Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding regular business activities, new business planning, government requirements, and operating forecasts.

• Research and prepare reports on market and environmental risks including interest rates, foreign exchange rates, macroeconomic trends as well as the social, political, regulatory, technological, and competitive environments.

• Monitor branch operational data, assess key performance indicators, analyze trends and make recommendations as appropriate.

• Support Company’s fundraising efforts and associated reporting requirements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports including management and Board reports.


Qualifications Requises

Language Requirements
English required (oral and written); French and Haitian Creole (Kreyol) desired.

Supervisory Requirements
Supervise activities of Financial Analyst(s).

Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance with knowledge in Accounting; or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
