The PSP program is helping to develop Haiti’s parliamentary institutional capacity, promote transparency in legislative processes, and facilitate representation through the provision of technical assistance, training, staffing, and material. Program activities focus on representation, lawmaking, oversight and accountability, and management and infrastructure.
Fonctions
Purpose:
Serve as Sound Engineer to support the development of a PSP project activity to deliver uniform, quality sound through the provision of audio equipment to a project beneficiary. Responsibilities include assessing and surveying current audio capacity of beneficiary partners, and provide recommendations and detailed specifications for project activity needs.
Duties:
• Assess and survey current audio capacity, including current configuration drawings and measurements
• Assist in the development of detailed specifications, based on surveyed needs
• Work with the PSP team to develop a detailed list of materials required (speakers, audio cables, insulation, etc.), including estimated costs
• Provide recommended installation requirements, including drawings and measurements for proposed audio equipment layout and configuration
Qualifications Requises
Qualifications:
• Degree (preferred) or professional certification in Audio Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience as an Audio Engineer
• Capacity to communicate in English and French
• Ability to work closely with PSP staff and project beneficiaries
