Introduction

Chemonics International seeks an experienced Communications Manager for a three-year, $8-10 million USAID-funded Integrated Financial Management System Project in Haiti. The project is expected to provide continued assistance and support to the Government of Haiti’s Ministry of Economy and Finance in the development of a full and complete Integrated Financial Management System to enhance governance efforts and combat corruption. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.


Fonctions

Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the monitoring and evaluation process for reporting progress
• Maintain reporting procedures and guidelines in compliance with USAID/Chemonics policy
• Track the progress of all activities and outputs
• Develop tools to ensure accurate collection and verification of data
• Write/edit project success stories, generate content for project newsletters, bulletins, Web site
• Write project weekly report, help develop project annual report
• Contribute to capacity development of the Government of Haiti’s Ministry of Economy and Finance campaigns
• Manage project communications and public relation with stakeholders and disseminate project information
• Coordinate and oversee project impact evaluation activities to assess the outcomes and impacts of IFMS activities


Qualifications Requises

• Master’s degree in evaluation, social sciences, or other related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years developing, implementing, and managing M&E and public outreach processes.
• Proven ability to communicate clear messages and goals to a variety of audiences, including community members, stakeholders, and multi-cultural audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and versatility.
• Experience engaging effectively with a range of diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Prior experience working on USAID-funded projects in a similar position preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating between large projects and promoting lessons learned highly preferred.
• Proficiency in English, Fluency in French and Haiti Creole preferred
