In the international education sector, from our longstanding work in post-apartheid South Africa to innovative work in Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA), including recently in Ethiopia, RTI works to improve education quality, relevance, access, and efficiency around the world. RTI is recruiting candidates for a USAID education program in Haiti (TOTAL). The main activity will be to design and implement a G1-3literacy program (curriculum and supplementary materials) in Haitian Creole and French, then to evaluate the effectiveness of key components of that program.

Qualifications Requises
General Characteristics
• Strong attention to details
• Facility with numbers, spreadsheets, databases, reports
• Solid French proficiency (oral and written language); English proficiency (oral and written language) a strong plus
• Willingness to work as part of a team and to take direction
• Willingness to travel to project locations as needed to gather data
• Ability to learn and follow systems and protocols
• Interest in and aptitude for information technology, particularly as it applies to M&E and assessments
M&E Specific Requirements.
• Ability to:Quickly establish a solid familiarity with the new database structure and how to use it.
• Evaluate incoming data to ensure completeness and flag issues
• Monitor database to ensure that data remain clean, organized, and are complete
• Follow protocols (e.g., for cleaning data, documenting changes made in database)
Recommended Characteristics:
• Past experience in education or child protection sector
• Experience participating in, and ideally providing M&E support to, large scale assessments
